Each spring, the delicate lacework of the lace-makers from Mândra, Brașov County, is transformed into mărțișoare—small pieces that actively support free educational projects for the village children. Visitors are invited to discover and purchase handmade mărțișoare and adornments, folk art objects, and creations inspired by the region’s cultural heritage. The festival program also includes craft workshops, live demonstrations, product presentations, and recitals of old Romanian music performed by the participating folk artisans.
